Apple Watch SE (3rd generation)

The budget Watch finally got the always-on display. Apple put the S10 chip in the third SE, brought over the always-on screen that had separated the SE from the Series models since 2020, and added fast charging, wrist temperature sensing and sleep apnea detection. What is still missing is the ECG and the blood oxygen sensor, which is now the entire remaining argument for spending more. It costs $249. At that price, with a modern chip and a screen that stays lit, it is difficult to recommend anything else to most people, which has been the SE's awkward position since the first one.
