iPad Air (M2, 11-inch and 13-inch)

Two sizes, at last. Apple added a 13-inch Air alongside the 11-inch, which is the single most useful thing it has done to the line. The M2 came down from the previous Pro generation, making this Air roughly 50 percent faster than the M1 version and considerably quicker than most laptops people were still using. The front camera finally moved to the landscape edge, which is where it should always have been on a device most people use in a keyboard case. Storage started at 128GB rather than 64. At $599 for the 11-inch and $799 for the 13-inch, it took over almost everything the Pro had been for, which is roughly what Apple intended.
